The unique visuals remind me of an anime from the &#8217;90s called Roujin Z or Old Man Z, about a man in a hospital bed. This is loosely telling a story, but it&#8217;s more about building a world where there are few borders between man and machine. It seems a little dystopian, as people seem to be neglecting their physical bodies in favor of the virtual, which runs counter to the upbeat music that we hear.<\/p>\n<p>Jon\uff1a Aratama is a filmmaker working out of Tokyo, Japan, and I find it really interesting that his background was actually in biosciences and he found his way to creative arts. So there&#8217;s a really interesting background and experiences that Aratama is bringing to his work.<br \/>\nWhat I really took away from this video was a reminder of Heavy Metal. I don&#8217;t know why I keep coming back to the Heavy Metal movie from the 1980s, but it really reminded me of that a lot.<br \/>\nAnd what I also really appreciate in this video is the vibes around it \u2014 the music. This is essentially a music video, and the music selection and just the journey through this futuristic space is really enjoyable. I find it relaxing.<\/p>\n<h3>&#8220;Gen:48 &#8211; Fourth Edition&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>This contest has the following constraints:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Created with Runway Gen-4 (or other Runway video models) within 48 hours<\/li>\n<li>Length: 1-4 minute self-contained short film<\/li>\n<li>Sound: Using Epidemic Sound or audio material you own the rights to<\/li>\n<li>Required elements: Location\/Character\/Object (each meaningfully incorporated into the story)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Creator Invitation from Escape.ai<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/escape.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5804\" src=\"https:\/\/aratama.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/escape_ai.webp\" alt=\"Escape.ai\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFollowing the feature on 5ives.ai for the AI animation &#8220;Inner Elevator,&#8221; we received an invitation from an American curator of the next-generation streaming platform &#8220;Escape.ai&#8221; to join as a creator.<br \/>\nWe plan to participate in their community in the near future.<\/p>\n<h3>What is Escape.ai?<\/h3>\n<p>Escape.ai is a platform that curates cutting-edge audiovisual experiences utilizing generative AI.
