Legal Notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions
This notice applies to mail-order sales of artworks, products, digital content, licenses, and related services offered by Seiichi Sato as a sole proprietor in connection with his activities under the artist name “aratama 璞,” through this website and other sales pages operated directly by the Seller.
Where ARATAMA 璞 Co., Ltd. or the operator of an external platform is expressly identified as the seller or contracting party, the terms and conditions presented by that entity will apply.

Prices and Service Fees
Prices and fees are displayed on the relevant artwork, product, or service page, application page, quotation, or contract.
Unless otherwise stated, all displayed prices include Japanese consumption tax.
Additional Charges
Depending on the product or transaction, customers may be responsible for the following additional charges:
- Shipping charges
- Installation, packaging, insurance, and other individually specified charges
- Bank transfer fees
- Internet access and telecommunications charges
- Customs duties, import taxes, and other taxes or charges associated with international shipping
Shipping, installation, packaging, insurance, and other charges determined by the Seller will be displayed on the relevant sales page, application page, quotation, or contract.
Bank transfer fees, telecommunications charges, customs duties, import taxes, and other charges whose amounts cannot be determined by the Seller will be charged at the rates established by the relevant financial institution, telecommunications provider, customs authority, or other competent body.

Available payment methods vary depending on the artwork, product, or service.
Payment Timing
Credit Card
Payment is processed when the purchase or application is completed. The date on which the amount is charged to the customer’s account is determined by the relevant card issuer.
Bank Transfer
Payment must be made by the deadline stated in the invoice or payment instructions issued by the Seller. Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Formation of Contract
A contract is formed when the Seller sends the customer a notice confirming the order or accepting the application.
If a different time of contract formation is specified on the relevant sales page or in an individual agreement, that provision will prevail.
Delivery of Products and Provision of Services
Original Artworks and Physical Products
Items will be shipped within the period stated on the relevant sales page or in the order confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, items will be shipped within 10 business days after payment has been confirmed.
Made-to-Order and Commissioned Works
Works will be delivered according to the individually agreed schedule after the production details have been finalized.
Digital Content
Digital content will be provided after payment has been confirmed, by download, email, or another method specified by the Seller. Unless otherwise stated, digital content will be provided within three business days after payment has been confirmed.
Creative Work, Appearances, Licenses, and Other Services
Services will be provided according to the schedule specified in the relevant quotation, application form, purchase order, contract, or other individual agreement.
Technical Requirements for Digital Content
File formats, supported operating systems, required software, and other technical or usage requirements for digital content will be displayed on the relevant sales or application page.
Application Period and Availability
Any application period, sales quantity, geographical availability, or other conditions will be displayed on the relevant sales or application page.
Limited-edition and one-of-a-kind works will no longer be available once sold out.
Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
The statutory cooling-off system under Japanese law does not apply to mail-order sales.
Original Artworks and Physical Products
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations after an order has been confirmed are not accepted due to a customer’s change of mind.
If a product is damaged, soiled, incorrectly delivered, or otherwise fails to conform to the terms of the contract, please contact the Seller within seven days of delivery. The Seller will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include return, exchange, repair, replacement, re-delivery, or refund. In such cases, return shipping costs will be borne by the Seller.
If damage during shipping is discovered, please retain the product, packaging materials, and shipping label, and contact the Seller with photographs clearly showing the condition of the product.
Nothing in these provisions limits any rights granted to customers under applicable law.
Digital Content and Licenses
Due to the nature of these products, returns, refunds, and cancellations due to a customer’s change of mind are not accepted once the digital content has been delivered or downloaded, access has been granted, or use of the license has begun.
If the customer is unable to receive or use the content properly for reasons attributable to the Seller, the Seller will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include re-delivery, correction, replacement, or refund.
Commissioned Works, Made-to-Order Works, and Services
Once production or provision of the service has begun, cancellations and refunds due to a customer’s change of mind are not accepted.
Cancellations before production begins, early termination, schedule changes, and any associated charges will be governed by the terms stated in the relevant quotation, application form, purchase order, or contract.
Artworks and Intellectual Property Rights
The purchase of an artwork or product does not transfer any copyright, trademark right, or other intellectual property right to the purchaser.
Except where permitted by applicable law, prior permission from the Seller or relevant rights holder is required for reproduction, republication, public screening, distribution, modification, commercialization, advertising use, use for AI training, or any other secondary use.
Products and services that include a license are subject to the permitted scope of use, media, duration, territory, and other conditions specified on the relevant sales page or in the individual agreement.
Sales through External Platforms
Where SUZURI or another external platform operator is the seller of a product, the terms of sale, payment terms, shipping conditions, and return policy displayed by that operator will apply.
Where Seiichi Sato is expressly identified as the seller, the terms set out in this notice and on the relevant sales page will apply.
Business Undertaken by a Corporate Entity
This notice does not apply to business development, creative planning and production, training, casting, management, or other services for which ARATAMA 璞 Co., Ltd. or a platform operated by the company is the seller or contracting party.
Business undertaken by a corporate entity is governed by the terms displayed on the relevant corporate website or application page, or in the applicable quotation or contract.
Other Special Conditions
If separate terms of sale apply to a particular artwork, product, or service, those terms will be displayed on the relevant sales page or application page, or in the applicable quotation or contract.
If individually agreed terms differ from this notice, the individually agreed terms will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
