aratama 璞 to Exhibit at GEN_AI_EXHIBITION VOL.6

AI Artist / AI Creative Architect aratama 璞 will exhibit at GEN_AI_EXHIBITION VOL.6, taking place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, Hamamatsucho-kan.

Participating independently as part of the event’s circle exhibition, aratama is currently planning to premiere a new anime music video that is now in production.

The exact exhibition lineup will continue to evolve right up until the event, reflecting the latest work in progress and new creative ideas. The booth will primarily feature moving-image work while offering a look at aratama’s latest explorations in AI-driven creativity.

aratama plans to exhibit and remain at the venue throughout the day.

Exhibiting at GEN_AI_EXHIBITION VOL.6

GEN_AI_EXHIBITION — known in Japanese as “生成AIなんでも展示会” (Seisei AI Nandemo Tenjikai) — is one of Japan’s largest grassroots generative AI exhibitions.

Individual developers and creators bring together technologies and works made with generative AI, meeting face-to-face to demonstrate, discuss, and experience one another’s creations.

The exhibition spans a broad range of independently developed work, including images, video, music, AI characters, robots, games, LLM applications, research experiments, and other generative AI projects.

Rather than focusing solely on large-scale commercial technology, the event is rooted in Japan’s grassroots creator culture: a place where people can bring what they have made simply because they are passionate about it, share it directly with others, and build new connections through that creative energy.

GEN_AI_EXHIBITION VOL.6 will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, Hamamatsucho-kan.

aratama 璞 will participate independently as part of the general circle exhibition.

Fivefold Growth in Two Years: A Generative AI Event That Keeps Expanding

GEN_AI_EXHIBITION has continued to grow with each edition.

Attendance rose from approximately 500 visitors at Vol.1 in April 2024 to around 600 at Vol.2, 900 at Vol.3, 1,500 at Vol.4, and approximately 2,500 at Vol.5 in May 2026.

In roughly two years, attendance has grown to around five times the size of the inaugural event.

The series has welcomed approximately 6,200 visitors in total, and its community continues to expand beyond Japan, with visitors from countries and regions including China, South Korea, and Europe.

What began as a grassroots gathering of individual AI developers and creators is steadily growing into an important meeting point for Japan’s emerging generative AI creative scene.

New Anime Music Video Set to Premiere at the Venue

For this edition, aratama 璞 is planning to premiere a new anime music video currently in production.

Rather than locking the exhibition format in place well in advance, the content will continue to evolve up until the day of the event in response to the latest stage of production and new creative ideas.

The booth will focus primarily on AI-driven moving-image and animation work, introducing some of the new forms of expression and creative processes aratama is currently exploring.

Real-time visual treatments and live demonstrations using the new work are also under consideration, moving beyond the conventional format of simply screening a completed video.

This may include elements of AIVDJ, aratama’s ongoing exploration of audiovisual performance that brings together moving images, music, and real-time direction. The exact form of the presentation will continue to develop through the day of the exhibition.

Connections Made at the Exhibition Have Grown into Lasting Collaborations

For aratama 璞, GEN_AI_EXHIBITION is more than a place to present finished work.

Some of the people aratama has met through previous editions have remained in close contact ever since. Those encounters have led to professional collaborations, ongoing creative exchanges, and relationships with people who have become important peers and trusted collaborators.

In a field where so much communication happens online, there is particular value in bringing work into a physical space, meeting in person, and talking directly with other creators.

A conversation sparked by a piece of work or a new technology can continue well beyond the exhibition floor — developing into future productions, collaborations, projects, and exchanges of ideas.

Those relationships are one of the reasons aratama continues to return to the event.

On Site All Day: Come Talk About AI, Creativity, and What Comes Next

aratama plans to remain at the venue throughout the day.

Because most of aratama’s creative work and communication takes place online, there are relatively few opportunities to spend an entire day meeting creators, visitors, and people who have followed the work in person.

Beyond the new anime MV, aratama is looking forward to conversations around topics including:

  • AI filmmaking and AI animation
  • Generative AI production workflows
  • Building a practice as an AI artist
  • Character design and IP development
  • Combining moving images and music
  • AIVDJ and live audiovisual performance
  • Developments in the global AI creative scene
  • How to release, present, and expand creative work
  • Building communities and turning creative activity into sustainable business

Whether you are already creating with AI, are interested in generative AI and creative technology, are thinking about starting your own practice, or have connected with aratama online but never met in person, please feel free to stop by the booth and say hello.

Sharing Insights from CapCut World 2026 Singapore

AI Artist aratama 璞 officially invited to CapCut World 2026 Singapore

Ahead of GEN_AI_EXHIBITION VOL.6, aratama 璞 is also scheduled to attend CapCut World 2026 Singapore in early September 2026.

At the Tokyo exhibition, aratama hopes to share first-hand impressions from Singapore — including developments in moving-image creation, conversations with international creators, and perspectives on the rapidly evolving global AI creative landscape.

The experience and inspiration brought back from Singapore will also feed into new work and future creative projects in Tokyo and beyond.

Comment from aratama 璞

I have been participating in GEN_AI_EXHIBITION since 2024, and over the years I have met an incredible number of people through the event.

This will be my fourth time exhibiting. Some of the people I first met here have since become collaborators I work with professionally, while others have become close creative peers I still exchange ideas with and turn to for advice.

An exhibition is obviously a place to show your work, but for me, one of its greatest values is simply being able to meet people and talk face-to-face.

Most of my activity takes place online, so having an entire day at the venue to meet and talk with people in person is actually quite rare.

I am planning to premiere a new anime MV this time, but just as importantly, I would like to talk with as many people as possible about AI filmmaking, animation, creative production, AIVDJ and live performance, as well as what I have been seeing and experiencing internationally.

Whether you are already making work, are simply interested in AI, or we have known each other online but never met in person, please feel free to come and say hello.

If you are a registered AI Creators member and will also be exhibiting or attending the event, please reach out either beforehand or at the venue.
